RULES

1. By signing up, you are committing to writing an original, fully completed story that is no less than 1,000 words, or an original, completed fanart that is fully colored – yes, grayscale counts. This exchange is for works written in English.
   


2. You are expected to leave a comment on the gift you receive. This includes anyone who may drop out after assignments go out -- even if you are unable to complete a gift for someone, someone is still working hard to make a gift for you!


3. Works should be focused on shipping Poe Dameron and Ben Solo|Kylo Ren. While you may include other side pairings or even other relationships involving these characters, the end result of your fanwork should be driven by the Poe and Ben|Kylo relationship.
   


4. You should honor your recipient’s requests. Do not include any of their do not wants. (Doing so may, at minimum, cause your gift to be returned for edits, or the assignment could be sent for pinch hit if bad faith is suspected.) This rule goes for treats as well.
   


5. Fanfiction must be reasonably edited and readable. Egregious spelling and grammar mistakes will cause a story to be returned to you with the expectation of improved editing, whether done by yourself or a beta reader. This rule also applies to treats.


6. Your work must be complete. Works in progress are not acceptable for either primary gifts or treats.
   


7. You must be signed up by the time sign-ups close. If you're late, you are welcome to offer to be a pinch-hitter, in the event someone has to drop out, or create treats.
   


8. You must remain anonymous to your recipient until after reveals. Do not contact your recipient. If you need help with something or a question regarding your assignment, contact the mod. You should also try and remain anonymous with other people as much as possible, especially other participants. Limited exceptions for editing are understandable!


9. Similarly, you may not cross-post your completed gift anywhere until after reveals are complete.


10. Fanworks should be appropriately tagged and rated according to content.
    


11. While efforts will be made to catch issues, if you feel the gift you receive as part of this exchange has failed to meet the minimum expectations set forth here, it is your responsibility to contact the mod to review your concerns.
    


12. If you sign-up and have to default, you need to contact the mod no later than 9PM EST on February 29, 2020. This is to give sufficient notice to find a pinch-hitter for your recipient, and for said pinch-hitter to have enough turn around time before reveals to make a quality gift. Dropping out beyond this deadline could impact your ability to participate in future rounds of this exchange.
    


13. In your sign-up, you must request at least two different prompts, and no more than four. At least one prompt must be set in the canon universe. Otherwise, alternate universe requests are entirely welcome.
    

I reserve the right for mod discretion for things not specifically addressed in these rules, but hope to use that in as limited a fashion as possible, if ever. If you have concerns or need clarification on anything, please reach out!
